Where Did You Go?

Sometimes Life Just Gets in the Way.

Hey there! It's been a few weeks, and I apologize for falling off the face of the Earth for a bit. Today, I want to share the reasons behind my recent digital disappearance.

Without revealing too much of my personal life, I have been dealing with some urgent matters concerning one of my kiddos that required immediate attention. As a parent, my first priority is always my family. I had to take a step back from my writing to address the situation. Additionally, I had some freelance work that took precedence during this period. My little shop and Etsy isn't the only way I support my passion for reviewing books (I haven't hit the big leagues in that regard, but maybe one day.) However, unexpected deadlines arose, and I had to prioritize those to fulfill my commitments. I also help run a large conference on the other side of the country, and the deadlines were deadlining.

On top of all that, I have been battling severe allergies because the pollen in my neck of the woods takes no prisoners. It's always this time of the year when I long for the days of breathing out of both nostrils and seeing out of both eyes without the trade-off of being a walking zombie. It's a bit difficult to read and write when you can't see. Despite my best efforts, meeting my usual publishing schedule has been impossible.

But the good news is that I am back on track now! I have been working hard to catch up on my pending reviews. I am committed to publishing at least once a week for the rest of April, except for The Blood Gift review, which will be out tomorrow, along with the book. In May, I will resume my regular publishing schedule twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

I want to thank each of you for your continued support and understanding during this challenging time. Your patience means the world to me. I am passionate about writing reviews and sharing my thoughts on the latest books. I am committed to bringing you valuable content on a consistent basis. Again, thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to sharing more bookish content with you in the coming weeks!
